Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern the use of www.lovelyyou.uk (the “Site”). This Site is owned and operated by Lovelyyou Ltd (an ecommerce business registered in the United Kingdom). By accessing this Site, you indicate that you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times.

2. Intellectual Property

All content published and made available on our Site is the property of Lovelyyou Ltd and the Site’s creators. This includes, but is not limited to images, text, logos, documents, downloads, and anything that contributes to the composition of our Site.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our Site for lawful purposes only and not to use it in a way that violates the rights of third parties or restricts or inhibits anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the Site.

4. Limitation of Liability and Indemnity

Lovelyyou Ltd and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses including legal fees arising from your use of the Site. Except where rohibited by law, by using this Site you indemnify and hold harmless Lovelyyou Ltd from any claims arising out of your use of our Site or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.

5. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

6. Website Availability and Pricing Errors

While we make every effort to ensure that all prices and product descriptions on our website are accurate, errors may occasionally occur. In the event of an obvious technical or pricing error (for example, where a product is displayed with an incorrect price of £0.01 instead of its true value), we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund, and we are under no obligation to fulfill the sale at the erroneous price.

7. Delivery and Risk

Risk of loss and damage of products passes to the customer upon delivery. Where a courier tracking system, GPS confirmation, photo proof of delivery, or recipient signature confirms that the parcel has been successfully delivered to the designated shipping address (including safe-place deliveries requested or authorized by the customer), the order is deemed delivered. We are not liable for missing parcels marked as delivered by the carrier; any claims regarding non-delivery or theft subsequent to confirmed carrier drop-off must be raised directly by the customer with the delivery service provider.

8. Cancellation and Return Timeframe

  • The statutory right to cancel an online order expires 14 days from the day after you (or a third party nominated by you) receive the goods.
  • You must notify us of your decision to cancel within this 14-day window and dispatch the items back to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicated your cancellation.
  • Items returned outside of this timeframe without prior agreement may be refused or returned to the customer at their own expense

9. Returns, Shipping Costs, and Condition of Items

  • Standard initial delivery for all orders is provided free of charge by the store.
  • If you decide to exercise your right to cancel and return the order, you are strictly responsible for paying the direct costs of returning the items to us.
  • Returned items must be sent back using a traceable postal or courier service. We strongly recommend keeping the postage receipt and tracking number, as we cannot be held liable for returned items lost in transit.
  • All items must be returned in their original, pristine condition, entirely unworn, unaltered, and free from any signs of use, makeup, perfumes, or damage, in their original undamaged packaging.
  • Upon a successful inspection of the returned items ensuring hygienic seals on items like earrings remain intact, we will refund the full product purchase price paid. We reserve the right to refuse a return or deduct an appropriate amount from the refund value if the returned product shows any signs of wear, handling beyond what is necessary, or damage caused by the customer.

10. Transit Damage and Mechanical Faults

Customers are requested to inspect their package upon delivery and report any mechanical damages or transit issues to us within 48 hours of receipt, preferably accompanied by photographic evidence or a courier damage report. A distinction is made between manufacturing defects and accidental mechanical damage. Breakages, snapped chains, or bent clasps resulting from misuse, pulling, accidental force, or failure to follow care instructions do not constitute manufacturing defects and will not be accepted as valid claims

11. Natural Wear, Plating, and Care Exclusions

Jewellery requires proper care as outlined in our provided Care Guide. Natural processes such as the gradual fading, tarnishing, or wearing off of gold plating—caused by regular exposure to skin acidity, sweat, moisture, cosmetics, perfumes, lotions, swimming pools, or household detergents—are considered normal wear and tear rather than manufacturing faults. Products showing signs of damage due to improper care, failure to follow instructions, or chemical exposure are excluded from warranty claims.

12. Right to Change Terms

We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our business, payment methods, or legal requirements. Any changes will take effect immediately upon being posted on the website. However, the terms and conditions applicable to your order will be those in force at the time you placed your order.

13. Events Outside Our Control (Force Majeure)

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under these Terms that is caused by an Event Outside Our Control. An Event Outside Our Control means any act or event beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action by third parties, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic, pandemic or other natural disaster, or failure of public or private telecommunications networks or delivery services (such as Royal Mail or courier delays).

If an Event Outside Our Control takes place that affects the performance of our obligations: (a) we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to notify you; and (b) our obligations under these Terms will be suspended and the time for performance of our obligations will be extended for the duration of the Event Outside Our Control. Where the delivery of goods is affected, we will arrange a new delivery date with you after our delivery partners resume service
